Goldongmyeon (Bibimmyeon)



A noodle dish mixed with beef, vegetables, and soy sause.

Ingredients

4 bundles somyeon noodle, 100g beef , 3 soaked shiitake mushrooms, 1 egg, sugar, salt, pepper, sesame seed oil, vegitable oil

Beef and mushroom marinade sauce

1 tbsp soy sause, 1/2 tbsp sugar, 2 tsp finely chopped spring onion, 1 tsp minced garlic, toasted sesame seeds, sesame oil

Sauce

2 tbsp soy sauce, 1tsp sugar,sesame oil, toasted sesame seed

1. Cut beef into thin slices (lengthwise) about 4 cm long. Wipe with kitchen paper. Mix with half of marinade sauce and saute.
2. Soak shiitake mushrooms in warm sugary water until soft. Remove stems and chop it finely. Wipe with kitchen paper. Mix with the rest of marinade sauce and saute.
3. Separate egg white from yolk. Pan-fry into very thin sheets. before cooled, cut into 3 cm long. Repeat the same process with the yolk.
4. Bring water to boil and add noodles. when it boils, add some cold water. Repeat it one more time. Rinse in ice cold water and drain.
5. Place the cooked somyeon in a serving bowl, garnish with seasoned beef , shiirake mushrooms and egg.
6. Serve sauce B on the side and mix it all together before eating.
